Welcome to the First Tee of Lakeland, FL.
The First Tee of Lakeland opened May 1, 2005, with the help of our friends, local businesses, foundations and the golfing community. We transformed the once popular local icon The Publix Par 3 Golf Course into a YMCA Par 3 facility. The newly remodeled 9-hole course, with a lighted driving range, became Home to The First Tee of Lakeland. We would like to thank our friends and local businesses for their continued support.

What We Do
- Teach the game of golf to Lakeland area youth.
- Educate boys and girls through golf by teaching values that are
inherent to the game..
- Provide affordable access to golf instruction and play.
- Build relationships with kids.

How We Do It

Work with schools to provide academic tutoring in reading and math and mentoring in social skills development.

Include life skill instruction as an integral part of every instructional session.

Offer a variety of instructional programs tailored to the skill level of participants.

Provide supervised play opportunities.

Provide competitive programs for interested participants.

Provide after-school programs.
